Bikeology Parent Guide: What Every Parent Should Know About Youth Bicycling

Bikeology bicycle education program. It covers practical information on helmet fit, bicycle selection, braking, traffic awareness, and modeling safe behaviors. Developed with support from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the guide empowers parents to reinforce safe bicycling habits at home and in the community, and to become active “Roll Models” in promoting responsible riding and driving.

Expert Statement on Physical  Activity and Brain Health in Children and Youth

This expert consensus report outlines the scientifically supported connections between physical activity and brain health in children and youth, including those with neurodevelopmental disabilities. It highlights how regular physical activity benefits cognition, academic achievement, mental health, executive function, and brain structure. Developed by a panel of experts in pediatric neuroscience, exercise science, and inclusive health, the statement provides evidence-based recommendations for families, educators, healthcare professionals, community organizations, and policymakers to support physical activity for optimal brain development and lifelong well-being.
